1. How to Create a Cupping Session on Tastify®
Whether it's your first time using Tastify® or you're showing others how to use it, this video is a step-by-step guide on how to start your cupping session.
It will show you how to add the basic info of your cupping, like time and date, how to add guests and info on the samples you'll be cupping, as well as the information you can add during your cupping session: from descriptors and tasting notes to the final score, notes, and photos!
2. How to Change Language
This feature is handy when sharing samples and working with clients or colleagues around the world! This video guide explains how to change settings and adjust language preferences. You can choose one of the eight languages available and share sample info with your team in their language!
3. Calibration Feature
Are you interested in knowing how well-calibrated you and your team are? Here's a helpful guide that explains how to enable the calibration feature on your cupping samples. Once you click on "View Calibration," you can access a graph that displays the results from each cupper and the average score of the cupping. Additionally, you can view the descriptors that each cupper added, as well as the cupping results of all participants. This information can be easily shared as a PDF, making it a useful tool within teams or when cupping with clients!
4. Hide / Show Score and Timer Function
These are two of our simplest yet super valuable features! In this video, you'll learn how, once you start your cupping session and add your descriptors and score, you can hide or show the score with a simple click!
In the video, you'll also learn how to use our timer, one of our favorite features, as you won't need an extra timer or your phone to keep track of your time during a cupping with this one!
5. Compare Samples
In the video, you'll find out how simple it is to compare samples! All you have to do is select from 2 to 4 different samples in the "Review Samples" section, and you'll get a side-by-side comparison with attributes, scores, and each sample's flavor wheel!
6. How to Search for Specific Samples
Maybe you can't remember the name of the sample, but with our advanced search option on the "Review Sample" page, all you have to do is add some of the info you know about that coffee, and Tastify® will help you find the sample you're looking for! Learn how by watching the video below.
7. How to Share Samples
This video is a quick tutorial on using our "Share" option to easily share a report with your customers, team, or producers. Once you click "Share" the report will go straight to their inbox within seconds!
